WHAT ON EARTH IS THE NEFERTITI LIFT?
A well-defined jawline with a long neck has been a sign of beauty since the time of the Egyptians. This advanced procedure creates a well-toned, smooth neck and lifted jaw line, taking its name from Queen Nefertiti, whose elegant bone structure continues to be admired in modern times.
The Nefertiti Lift is an advanced technique using Botox or Dysport to redefine the jawline and soften marionette lines on the neck, counteracting the effects of aging, loss of elasticity (and of course gravity).
WHAT IS THE BOTOX FACE LIFT (NEFERTITI LIFT) PROCEDURE?
The treatment consists of Botox injections along the lower jawline and the platysma muscles in the neck area (see blue dots & arrows), providing an uplifting effect to the neck and jaw area.
By relaxing these neck muscles the facial muscles create an upward pull, reducing the sagginess of the areas. I also enhance the Nefertiti Lift by using Botox or Dysport in the chin area to alleviate “orange peel texture” and also in the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth downwards.
WHAT CAN THE NEFERTITI LIFT DO FOR YOU?
Once the Botox has relaxed these muscles, the net effect is an upward pull from facial muscles, creating a younger looking jaw line, neck and face.
HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO COME IN FOR A NEFERTITI LIFT?
The treatment needs to be repeated every 3-4 months just like most Botox | Dysport treatments.
HOW LONG DOES THE NEFERTITI LIFT TAKE?
The Botox Face Lift (Nefertiti) can be done on your lunch break and takes about 10 minutes.
WHAT IS THE COST OF A NEFERTITI LIFT (BOTOX FACE LIFT)?
This depends on the persons age and skin laxity. I generally use between 35-50 units of Botox. At the time of this blog, my per unit price is $11. AS you can see below, there are varying degrees of skin laxity.
