I tried Rae Climate Control years ago and instantly fell in love. This tinted coverage is enough for me on most days just by itself. It is moisturizing, without feeling oily. Plus, the customer service team at Rae Cosmetics is second to none, and who doesn’t love supporting a local Austin business.

I am a sensitive, acne prone and melasma skin type. Plus, throw in a little early 40’s hormones. Man, hormones are so fun! They have enough colors to match any skin type, and mine was no easy task.

I asked Rochelle Rae herself one day what color she thought I was, and she knew immediately the Climate Control 25 degrees was my match. I’ve always been terrible at makeup. I mean, how do people just look at you and know what shade to choose? Well, that’s her thing, and she is the bomb. There are days where I need a little extra coverage, and I simply dust on some mineral makeup on top.

The Rae formula works for our Austin, TX climate. It gets sticky hot here, and the Climate Control doesn’t crease up, get oily or make me look shiny. As a Medical Aesthetician, I can tell you EVERYONE needs hydration. The majority of my clients are dry somewhere. I use this on my face, neck and decollete.
